Take things a little slower on Friday 31 July and visit a selection of showrooms on the Friday before the big event. This is your chance to take in a preview of the products being launched, without the crowds. Make sure you bring walking shoes or organise your own transport for +Friday as the bus service will not be running.
Some participating showrooms will be open on +Friday, but please contact individual showrooms for appointments to ensure they are open and can accommodate your visit:
· Alternative Surfaces Open at Stylecraft’s showroom 9am–12pm for informal product presentations
· Argent Wine, cheese and nibbles in the evening (open to all attendees)
· Botton + Gardiner Invitation-only event for the launch of TETRA
·Café Culture / Brintons Carpets 3:30–6:30pm invitation-only VIP preview of products with wine and cheese tasting
·Chairbiz / Pelle Leathers 10am–6pm early bird preview of launched products and luncheon (registration essential)
·Classique Will host group and individual presentations by appointment to architects and designers
·Corporate Culture 12pm press lunch and VIP presentations throughout the day
·DESIGN ON FLINDERS 5–7pm invitation-only VIP preview with canapés and drinks
·FY2K / RC&D / Porter’s Paints 10:30am VIP and media brunch, open to all attendees
·Haron Robson Two invitation-only presentations at Corporate Culture’s showroom. 10am on Green Energy Challenge; 4pm on being Creative yet Green with Lighting
·IKEN VIP previews of the latest products by appointment only, complete with fine wine and cheese
·Insitu 12pm invitation-only lunch with French bubbles to celebrate the launch of the Konstantin Grcic-designed MONZA chair
·InterfaceFLOR Invitation-only gallery showing with cocktails
·K+N CityOffice Exclusive VIP showroom previews to top design firms
·Kinnarps / CSM One-on-one appointments throughout the day, call to book
·Maxton Fox VIP drinks and canapé evening
